National Dialogue on “The Digital Fourth Pillar” – At Colombo

Hithawathi participated in the National Dialogue on “The Digital Fourth Pillar”, organized by Hashtag Generation on 24th June 2025 at Colombo. The event addressed the impact of platforms like Facebook and TikTok on elections, activism, and accountability. Special focus was given to digital exclusion and online harassment affecting women, LGBTQIA+ communities, and youth, calling for a more inclusive and democratic digital space. Around 60 stakeholders and guests participated in this event.
