AT AWISSAWELLA BISCHOFF GAMMA LANKA (PVT.)LTD.
An awareness session of Hithawathi services and Cyber Safety, organized Avissawella – Bischoff Gamma Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd was held on 25th May 2023 at the factory premises. About 150 employers participated in this session.
Skills Expo 2023
AT BMICH, COLOMBO
There was a stall for Hithawathi at Skills Expo Exhibition 2023 endorsed by Ministry of Education. Hithawathi leaflets, promo cards were distributed and raising awareness on Hithawathi was conducted in all three languages. About 2000 including many school children from all over the island and the general public visited there on 12th, 13th and 14th May 2023.

An awareness session on Cybersafety and Hithawathi services was held on 03rd May 2023 at Al Furkhan Muslim Maha Vidyalaya, Nabadagahawaththa under the initiative of “Hithawathi Teens Hub”. About 90 students, teachers and the principal participated in this session. At the end of the session a Cyber Quiz was asked and five winners were randomly selected out of those who gave the correct answer to award MD Gunasena book store gift vouchers of LKR 2,500/- each. Hithawathi Teens Hub Student Leaders were awarded a valuable certificate signed by Ministry of Education and LK Domain Registry for their contribution to create a safer cyberspace for the school community.

An awareness session on Cybersafety and Hithawathi services was held on 02nd May 2023 at St. Anthony Central College, Wahakotte under the initiative of “Hithawathi Teens Hub”. About 125 students, teachers and the principal participated in this session. At the end of the session a Cyber Quiz was asked and five winners were randomly selected out of those who gave the correct answer to award MD Gunasena book store gift vouchers of LKR 2,500/- each. Hithawathi Teens Hub Student Leaders were awarded a valuable certificate signed by Ministry of Education and LK Domain Registry for their contribution to create a safer cyberspace for the school community.

About 55 students, teachers and the Vice principal priest participated in this session. At the end of the session a Cyber Quiz was asked and five winners were randomly selected out of those who gave the correct answer to award MD Gunasena book store gift vouchers of LKR 2,500/- each. About 175 students, teachers and the principal participated in this session. At the end of the session a Cyber Quiz was asked and five winners were randomly selected out of those who gave the correct answer to award MD Gunasena book store gift vouchers of LKR 2,500/- each. MOU between LK Domain Registry and Axiata Digital Labs
AT AXIATA DIGITAL LABS
LK Domain Registry and Axiata Digital Labs have teamed up to educate women and children on safe internet use. Prof. Gihan Dias, CEO of LK Domain Registry, and Mr. Thushera Kawdawatta, CEO of Axiata Digital Labs (Pvt) Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 21, 2023.
Through Cyber Surekuma booklets, awareness campaigns in schools, online webinars, and security videos on Hithawathi, we aim to create a safer online community for all.
Hithawathi Women’s Day Celebration – Empowering Women in Cyberspace

In celebration of International Women’s Day, with the theme of “Empowering Women in Cyberspace” Hithawathi organized a Stakeholder appreciation gathering which was held on 14th March 2023 at Marcopolo Lounge of Excel World, Colombo 10. About 30 stakeholders participated in-person and the event was Live on Hithawathi Facebook page for all the others to join online.
