There was a stall for Hithawathi at Infotel, Sri Lanka’s largest ICT exhibition 2023 organised by the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS). Hithawathi leaflets, promo cards along with Suhurusara leaflets were distributed and raising awareness on Hithawathi was conducted in all three languages. LK Domain Registry and Axiata Digital Labs have teamed up to educate women and children on safe internet use. Prof. Gihan Dias, CEO of LK Domain Registry, and Mr. Thushera Kawdawatta, CEO of Axiata Digital Labs (Pvt) Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 21, 2023.

Through Cyber Surekuma booklets, awareness campaigns in schools, online webinars, and security videos on Hithawathi, we aim to create a safer online community for all.

Search for Common Ground (SFCG), Centre for Equality and Justice (CEJ), and Hashtag Generation as a Consortium has initiated this program known as “Caught in the Web” (CitW).
