Do you love playing games on your phone or tablet? 🎯Of course you do! Games are fun, exciting and a great way to relax.
BUT WAIT
Not all games are safe. 🙁 Some apps pretend to be games but are actually tricks
🚨 What’s the danger?
Some fake apps
- Show lots of annoying pop-up ads 😖
- Ask to use your camera, location or contacts
- Try to steal your personal info
- Promise free coins, gems or cheats, but may hack your phone or take your money
They look just like real games, so it’s hard to tell the difference. That’s why you need to be a Smart Gamer!
🎮 How to be a Smart Gamer
- Download games only from trusted app stores
- Check the reviews before – do other players say it’s safe?
- Don’t click on random links offering free hacks or gems
- Never share your real name or photo in games
- Use strong passwords and turn on 2-step login
- Ask a parent or trusted adult before installing new games (if you are under 18)
👨👩 A Quick Note for Parents of Minors
Many fake game apps are designed to trick children. You can help by:
🗣Talking openly with your child about online safety.
🔓Use parental controls to block harmful apps.
💡Help them understand that “free” offers online can come with hidden risks.
