Hithawathi participated official launch of SafeWebLK organized by Factum on March 17th, 2026 at Colombo. The SafeWebLK is a public literacy platform developed by Factum with the support of Meta. A panel discussion followed, featuring a Meta policy expert along with local research experts and activists. About 100 Government officials, members of the diplomatic community, civil society representatives, and experts working in the fields of digital governance, media, and technology participated in this event.
