The following instructions guide you through factory resetting several devices.

Android Smartphone

  • Step 1: Go to Settings > General Management
  • Step 2: Scroll down and select Reset > Factory data reset
  • Step 3: Click the Reset button

Note – Above instructions may differ slightly depending upon manufacturer and the version of Android installed, in such instances simply search as “factory reset <device> <Android version>”

iPhone /iPad

  • Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset
  • Step 2: Enter passcode or Apple ID password when requested
  • Step 3: Confirm erasure and wait for a few minutes

Windows 10 computer

  • Step 1: Go to Settings > Select Update and Security > Recovery
  • Step 2: Select Reset this PC/ Get started
  • Step 3: Select Remove everything
  • Step 4: Confirm to erase all personal data from all drives
  • Step 5: Reinstall Windows
  • Step 6: Finally press Restore

Windows 11 computer

  • Step 1: Go to Settings
  • Step 2: Then go to Windows update > Advanced Options
  • Step 3: Click on Recovery
  • Step 4: In recovery section select the option “Reset this PC”
  • Step 5: You can either choose to keep your files on the PC or erase everything. select your preferred option
  • Step 6: Next, select how you would like to reinstall Windows (either Cloud download or Local reinstall)
  • Step 7: Finally click on Reset to begin the process
