Hithawathi was invited for the Launch of the revamped website of Yeheli by Dialog. This event took place at Dialog Headquarters on 13th October 2023.

Consultation with CSOs working on CSGBV and GOHS
AT COLOMBO 3

Hithawathi participated in a CSOs forum on cyber-sexual and gender-based violence (CSGBV) and gendered online hate speech (GOHS) to finalize country priorities to engage with Big Tech companies, held on 12th October 2023 at Colombo 3. Search for Common Ground (SFCG), Centre for Equality and Justice (CEJ), and Hashtag Generation as a Consortium has initiated this program known as “Caught in the Web” (CitW).

Introduction to ICT industry Awareness on Cybersafety at Wanarathana Vidyalaya, Gampaha

An introduction to ICT industry along with awareness about identifying and mitigating Cyber Harassments was held on 26th September 2023 at Wanarathana Vidyalaya, Gampaha. This was conducted by Hithawathi in collaboration with Axiata Digital Labs (ADL). About 100 participants including Advanced Level students, teachers and principals of schools in that area and representatives from Zonal Educational office participated in this event.
