  • Can I remove the account of a friend or family member who’s medically incapacitated?

If your friend or family member is irreversibly mentally or physically unable to maintain their Facebook account, Facebook may be able to help you to remove it.

  • For a child under 13: Facebook require our members to be at least 13 years old. If you believe there is a child under the age of 13 using Facebook, please report the account to Facebook.
  • For someone over 13: Please submit a request here. Facebook will review the information you provide and let you know what action that they can take. Keep in mind this form should only be used to report medically incapacitated users. Learn what to do if you’ve lost access to your account, or how to report a hacked account or deceased user.

Note: Facebook doesn’t consider someone who is in rehab or prison to be incapacitated. If you’re a member of law enforcement and would like to report someone on Facebook who is currently imprisoned, please submit a request.
